Now Booking for Summer Lessons
Summer Lessons are a great time to explore the student's interest in piano. Lessons are held weekly for 8 weeks, from July 2-August 22. However, if you are away on vacation or the student is away at a camp, there will be no charge. Taking summer lessons also gives you the opportunity to continue to take lessons for the school year if you wish to continue. Lessons are held on Wednesdays and Thursdays, although if there is enough demand, I will open a third day. Be sure to book early as spaces are already filling up. Lessons are available in 30 minute, 45 minute or 60 minute slots. Ages 5+. Adults welcome, too!
Rates & Fees
Piano Lessons
**New Rates take effect July 1, 2025
30 minute private lesson $24/lesson
45 minute private lesson $36/lesson
60 minute private lesson $48/lesson
**Please note that missed lessons are still charged as that time has been reserved for you.
While I will try to reschedule the missed lesson, rescheduled lessons are not guaranteed.
You MUST pay for the missed lesson, regardless of whether or not it has been rescheduled.
If Lori needs to cancel, a rescheduled lesson will be offered or a credit will be given on the following month's fees. Fees subject to change at teacher's discretion.
Books & Music
Students are required to purchase their own books. Tony's Music Box on Queen Street in Fredericton is locally owned and operated and offer a great selection of products with very reasonable prices. If I pick the books up for you, you will need to reimburse me for the books. You are also welcome to go and browse their great selection of books and instruments as well. The staff there are very helpful and friendly.
I often will purchase sheet music online from Sheet Music Direct for my students to supplement their instructional repertoire. I generally do not charge students for the music I purchase online, however if a particular song is one I would not use again and is over $6.00 to purchase, I will request payment for that music. Please note that I will only provide one copy per song at no charge. If the song needs to be replaced, there will be a charge for the second copy.
